Welcome to The Little Seed Education Systems!
I am Kanetria Doolin, a passionate educator and dedicated Montessori leader with a steadfast commitment to creating inclusive, engaging, and transformative learning environments. My journey into the world of innovative, child-centered education began unexpectedly, sparked by a personal quest to find a non-traditional school for my children. That search opened the door to a position as a Primary Montessori Teacher, where the training I received reshaped not only my understanding of education but also my perspective on what it means to educate the whole child.
Over the past 15 years, I have gained a wealth of experience in education, beginning as a teacher’s assistant and progressing to teacher, instructional coach, and school leader. I have taught in traditional public, private, and charter school settings, as well as Montessori classrooms, which has given me a deep understanding of diverse educational environments. As part of my leadership journey, I successfully launched three Montessori schools and established over 10 Montessori classrooms, ensuring that each environment was thoughtfully designed to empower children, educators, and schools alike.
My credentials include an AMI Primary Montessori Diploma, a Master’s Degree in Education from Southern Methodist University, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education from the University of Texas at Arlington. I am also certified in Texas Teacher Education, Science of Teaching Reading, ESL, Art Education, and hold a Texas Childcare Director License.
Currently, I am a Doctoral Candidate at Southern Methodist University, where my research focuses on leveraging innovative educational approaches to create equitable opportunities for all learners using AI. This work reflects my ongoing commitment to leveling the playing field for children through transformative, evidence-based practices.
I have had the honor of leading impactful initiatives, speaking at the AMI Montessori Conference, and being featured in The Dallas Morning News and WFAA for my work in launching schools and transitioning hands-on learning to virtual environments. My leadership philosophy centers on the Montessori principle of respecting each child’s individuality and fostering a lifelong love of learning.
